Look at what dad Dragan said when we asked how he got lost in the wilderness of Eastern Serbia
Dragan and his daughter were searched for since Wednesday, when they got stuck in the car, in the snow, near the monastery in Zlot
We got stuck in the snow, we spent the night in the car, and in the morning we found help in a forester's house, Dragan Danicic said in front of the Despotovac police station, from which he came out carrying his daughter in his arms.
Dragan and his daughter were searched for since Wednesday, when they got stuck in the car, in the snow, near the monastery in Zlot.
"Two guys pulled us out with a Toyota," he says, and when asked by Telegraf what it was like and whether it was very cold, he answered:
"We are fine. It was cold, but we had fuel, if anyone is going to the mountains, fill up the tank," he said.
Asked how they wound up there, he said:
"I was going to Zlot to buy honey, and the navigation led me over a mountain. Another gentleman came down before me with an SUV and a trailer, so I thought there was no problem and that I would do the same, but in fact he also got stuck there," said Dragan.
The father was driving his daughter to the mother in Zajecar, but on the way from Belgrade to that town, all trace of them got lost.
Several police departments were involved in the search, and motorcycle clubs around Serbia also sprang to action.
They were last seen at the Markovac toll booth, where the Telegraf team went on Thursday.
That's where they left the highway in the afternoon, the day before, and were caught on camera. But until 3 pm yesterday, no one had any information about their whereabouts.
