"My nephew's wife died in front of him and their three children": Dr Bojic talks about tragedy that befell him
"I spent the whole night in Tirsova," adds Dr. Bojic
The director of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases in Dedinje, Belgrade, Professor Dr. Milovan Bojic, lost his niece-in-law in a serious traffic accident that happened on Sunday around 11 am in Stanjevine, on the main road from Prijepolje to Bistrica.
Her husband and their three children, aged two, four and six, were also in the vehicle, one of whom was injured, while the other have bruisings.
It is assumed that the unfortunate woman lost control of the car on a slippery road and hit a guardrail. It crashed into the car, cutting and fatally injuring her.
Dr. Bojic is in shock.
"It's real luck that the children stayed alive," the well-known doctor told Kurir after the accident.
The child, who suffered head injuries, was operated on last night, and the procedure was performed by Dr. Trivic.
"I spent the whole night in Tirsova," adds Dr. Bojic, referring to the children's hospital in Tirsova Street in Belgrade.
The victim was the wife of his brother's son.
"She was a wonderful woman. They were traveling to Montenegro, she died in front of her husband and children. I can barely talk about it because of the sadness," says Dr. Bojic.
