The Beo (Belgrade) Zoo, which has been operating under the Belgrade Fortress for 87 years, will be relocated.

More detailed plans for the relocation of the zoo will be presented tomorrow by the mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic, who will visit Ada Safari.

The zoo was opened in 1936 under the fortress, on Kalemegdan, it was expanded several times, but after the devastation in the Second World War, it was reduced to about seven hectares.
