Pristina's membership bid is not on the agenda of the Council of Europe's accession committee
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE) will hold a closed-door meeting tomorrow on whether Pristina's request for membership in the Council of Europe will be forwarded to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe did not include Pristina's application for membership in this organization on the agenda of today's meeting, it has been confirmed for Tanjug.

Earlier, according to Tanjug's sources, US embassies sent a joint note to the ministries of foreign affairs of certain member countries represented in the Council of Europe, in which Washington requests that the issue of membership of so-called Kosovo in the Council of Europe not be put on the agenda of the Committee of Ministers of that body, until Pristina changes its position on the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).
According to reports, Italy, France and Germany share the US position.
Tanjug reports that the US believes that a change in Pristina's position on the ZSO would pave the way for further discussions on the proposal for a basic agreement between Belgrade and Pristina.
