Vucic: I will look carefully at Milanovic's statement that Kosovo was taken from us

He added that he also spoke with Zeman and his delegation about the attitude towards the territorial integrity of Serbia and that, among other things, he told them what happens when some people come to Serbia and ask us to respect something that they would like us to respect

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday that he would like to hear the entire statement of President of Croatia Zoran Milanovic where he talks about the fact that taking Kosovo from Serbia is a land grab.

During a joint conference with Czech President Milos Zeman, when asked how he commented on Milanovic's statement, namely, that "we and the international community grabbed Kosovo from Serbia," Vucic said that he would look at it carefully.

He added that he also spoke with Zeman and his delegation about the attitude towards the territorial integrity of Serbia and that, among other things, he told them what happens when some people come to Serbia and ask us to respect something that they would like us to respect.

"And when I pull out the UN Charter and (UN Security Council) Resolution 1244 and all the agreements, Brussels, Washington... I ask which agreement do you want to respect - and then you either get silence or an arrogant answer. You know that this is not reality, and we are the ones who create reality.

If you want to look to the future, forget the papers and the legal order, who cares about that, you have to fall in line," said Vucic, who was hosting Zeman, who was in Belgrade since Sunday on an official farewell visit at the end of the second five-year mandate.
