Novak Djokovic has successfully started his campaign at this year's Australian Open, defeating Roberto Carballes Baena 3-0 in the first round.
Nole was greeted with ovations at Rod Laver Arena, both by the Serb fans and by the Australians, for which he thanked them after the match.
Novak first signed autographs and went straight to the locker room, considering that the match ended well after midnight Melbourne time, but returned to Rod Laver Arena a few minutes later.
Djokovic returned for "an encore" and then proceeded to sign autographs for his Serb fans, who remained in the stands, and took selfies with them for a full 20 minutes, which was witnessed by Telegraf's reporter in Melbourne.
