EXCLUSIVE: Ana's neighbor who has camera recording called the police, this document is proof
Our journalist Zorica Radulovic, who is in Boston and follows the case of the missing Belgrade native Ana Walshe, came into possession of a document that could be helpful in the investigation
Telegraf.rs journalist Zorica Radulovic, who is in Boston and follows the story of Ana Walshe, received a photo of a police document that shows that the police are on the trail of new evidence in the case of the missing Belgrade woman.
This is a document that states that on Jan. 8, a man contacted Cohasset police and said he had security camera footage that could be helpful in the investigation.
We have learned that these are the neighbors of Ana and Brian Walshe.
The document, which the Telegraf had access to, contains the transcript of the report made by a man from Cohasset, whose identity we are not publishing.
"Caller would like to speak to an officer about Walshe case, he has camera on his house that may show footage related to incident. He just got home from vacation and can hand over any footage to police," the first part of the document reads.
As Telegraf has exclusively learned in Boston, the police received this call on January 8, a week after Ana Walshe was last seen alive, according to an unnamed family member.
The disappearance of Ana Walshe was reported only after three days, and according to new information, it was first reported by her employer from Washington, Tishman Speyer, after the Belgrade woman did not show up at work.
This refutes the reports that her husband Brian and the company reported her missing at the same time on January 4.
Police searching for Ana, a mother of three sons and a resident of Massachusetts originally from Belgrade, discovered blood and a damaged knife in the basement of the family home in Cohasset, while biological evidence was isolated from a landfill.
Her husband, Brian Walshe, was arrested a short time later for obstructing the investigation and the bail was set at $500,000.
