This photo has Novak fans worried: Here's what's happening with Djokovic at Australian Open a day later
Novak has returned to training, so we believe that nothing serious is happening
Novak Djokovic returned to Melbourne, and started training as part of preparations for the Australian Open.
It is interesting that during the first training session Novak sparred with one of his main rivals and candidates for finishing in the top spot at the tournament, Daniil Medvedev.
Obviously the training was exhausting. Novak and Daniil wore each other out, judging by the photos in which both of them seemed exhausted at several points.
However, what worried Djokovic's fans the most was a photo showing physiotherapist Miljan Amanovic helping him.
During the tournament in Adelaide, Novak suffered a hamstring injury in the match against Medvedev in the semi-finals, but this seems to be something else, because Amanovic was treating his left knee.
That's why the training session ended after only 36 minutes, although it was planned to last 75 minutes.
The fans were very worried and hope that this is nothing serious and that Novak will be ready for the start of the Australian Open.
What can make them happy is the fact that Novak has returned to training and was in good mood when he was back at the Laver Arena together with his team.
The Australian Open released a video from the session, where Novak is seen in high spirits and ready to make a joke.
And what is most important, no consequence of the injury could be seen.
Early this morning our time the draw was held for this year's Australian Open, which turned out almost ideal for Djokovic.
At the start, he will take on Spaniard Carballes Baena, and on the way to the final, he will avoid Nadal, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Felix Auger Aliassime and Jannik Sinner, some of the biggest favorites.
The only one potentially waiting for him on the way to the trophy is Nick Kyrgios in the quarter-finals.
