President Vucic hosts Serb children from Slovenia

The president gave Christmas gifts to the children

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic received today, on Orthodox Christmas Eve, the children of Serb nationality from Slovenia, who are visiting Belgrade for the holiday.

After talking with the children, the president gave them Christmas gifts.

During his address, the president of Serbia invited all Serbs to show spiritual unity.

"I will pray today and tomorrow for the peace, life and survival of our people and for our children in Kosovo and Metohija to have peace, to preserve our country," said the president.

"I will pray that Christmas brings us peace and well-being, that Serbs for once in their history avoid great suffering, which we could not avoid either in the First or Second World War, the wars of the 90s or the (NATO) bombing," said the president.

Before the start of the reception, the president brought badnjak (oak branch) into the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic, which, in the presence of employees, was consecrated by Bishop Stefan.
