French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz are expected to send their chief advisers Emmanuel Bonne and Jens Plettner to Belgrade and Pristina this month, Pristina-based portal Klan Kosova said today, Tanjug reports.

Two EU diplomats, who wished to remain anonymous, told this media outlet yesterday that the arrival of EU-US delegations this time should be taken more seriously and that their demands for the parties are this time much more crystallized than during the September meetings, when the initial version of the EU proposal for agreement between Belgrade and Pristina was presented.

During the first visit on September 9, they were accompanied by EU envoy Miroslav Lajcak, while this time US envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar is also expected.
