The US ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill, posted on the US embassy's Twitter account that it is in Serbia's interest to move towards the West.

Hill explained that there is a realistic hope that our country will continue to develop its economy in this way.
"I think it is very clear what is the interest of Serbia - it must move towards the West. There is a real hope that if it continues to move towards the West, it will continue to develop its economy," he wrote.
