The Kosovo police announced today that the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings are open for traffic after all the barricades were removed in the morning hours in the north of Kosovo.

The Kosovo police reminded that the Jarinje and Brnjak crossings have been closed since December 10, when barricades were placed on the roads in the municipalities in the north of Kosovo.

"Based on the information so far, the barricades have been removed, and after that, the opening of the two border crossings Jarinje and Brnjak, which were opened for traffic today in the afternoon, was also assessed," they said on Facebook.

It is added that the Kosovo police "will continue to ensure freedom of movement for all citizens in cooperation with local and international institutions."
