The decision to put the Serbian Army on an increased level of readiness has been canceled by President and Commander-in-Chief Aleksandar Vucic, the Presidency has confirmed for Tanjug.

The decision to increase the level of the Army's readiness was declared on December 26 due to the situation in the north of Kosovo.

At the time, Vucic, as the commander-in-chief, ordered the Army and all units of the Interior Ministry (MUP) to be put on highest level of combat alert.
