Members of the Working Group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Serbia, whose task in prevention of irregular migration and people smuggling, have arrested two men in the area of Subotica, it has been announced.

These are an Afghani army general and a sniper, for whom France has issued international warrants charging them with committing most serious crimes and with terrorism.

During the operation near Subotica, more than 100 irregular migrants were found in an improvised camp, among which 25 persons who are of security interest.

An amount of weapons and ammunition was also confiscated.
