The police arrested P.V. (59), the former responsible person at the Healthcare Center Kovacica and M R. (45), a worker helping out at the Center during Covid vaccination, on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of abuse of office.

It is suspected that, in the period from November 2021 to February 2022, P.V. signed vaccination records for 54 people, namely 13 citizens of the Republic of Serbia and 41 foreign citizens, which certified that they had been vaccinated.

The suspect M.R. then recorded that in the centralized electronic database - the Public Health Service of the Republic of Serbia, even though she knew that those persons had not received the vaccine.

Further checks established that they were not even in Serbia at the time of the alleged vaccination, which enabled them to get vaccination certificates and download the Green Certificate without getting the vaccine.

The suspects, along with a criminal complaint, have been brought to the competent prosecutor's office.
