Serbian government to adopt request for return of Serbian forces to Kosovo and Metohija

The Government of Serbia will hold a meeting this evening when Belgrade's request - in accordance with the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 1244 - for the return of members of the Serbian Army and police to Kosovo and Metohija will be officially sent to KFOR, it has been confirmed for Tanjug from the Government.

According to the report, the session, which starts at 8 pm, will be attended by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

Five days ago, Vucic announced that a text had been agreed on that, in accordance with Resolution 1244, Serbia would send as a request to KFOR to enable the deployment of members of the Serbian Army and police in Kosovo and Metohija.
