Ski season launched on Mt. Kopaonik: Skiing enthusiasts can expect big discounts

Skiers will have the opportunity to enjoy the descent down the longest path on Kopaonik

The ski season on Mt. Kopaonik officially opened on Thursday with free skiing on the Karaman Greben and Malo Jezero slopes, announced Skijalista Srbije ("Ski Resorts of Serbia").

The company stated that with extremely unfavorable weather conditions due to high temperatures and rain, the ski resort managed to prepare two tracks for the ski season to begin.

The official ski-opening will last until Sunday, and from December 9 to 11, skiers will be able to buy ski tickets with a 30 percent discount.

Skijalista said that the tracks Bela Reka 1 and Bela Reka 2 are covered with snow, so skiers will have the opportunity to enjoy the descent down the longest path on Kopaonik.

These tracks are covered by the Brzece-Mali Karaman gondola, which connects the tourist resort of Brzece with the center of Kopaonik.

For the new season, Skijalista have not changed the prices of ski passes, and all those interested can get a five percent discount on the price by purchasing their pass voa the web shop.

The company added that this discount will be valid until the end of the ski season.
