Vucic in Tirana: It is better to be at the table than on the menu

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is welcoming the first participants on the red carpet at the Congress Palace

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said upon his arrival in Tirana, where he is participating in the Summit of the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans, that it is always better to be at the table, because, according to him, "when you are not, then you are on the menu."

The summit of EU leaders in the Western Balkans begins this morning in Tirana, and the first participants are being welcomed on the red carpet at the Congress Palace by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Emmanuel Macron, Ursula Von der Leyen, Olaf Scholz and other top officials are also coming to Tirana, which is why the city center is closed to traffic, as well as because of a protest announced by the opposition Albanian politician Sali Berisha from the Democratic Party.
