The list of participants for the upcoming Australian Open has been published, and the big news for everyone is that Novak Djokovic is on it again after a year's break due to a well-known situation!

Last winter, the Serbian tennis player had a problem with his visa because of Covid vaccination, which is why he could not fight for his tenth title at the tournament. In Australian, they locked Djokovic in up in an immigration hotel, took him to court several times, and finally deported him while banning him from returning to the country.

However, there has been a change of government in Australia, the new immediately canceled the decision of the previous one, and at the same time the rules of entry into Australia changed drastically. No vaccine is now required for that, nor for participation in major tournaments.

At the same time, Djokovic found out that he will be seeded fifth, enabled to him by winning the title at the Final Masters in Turin, after which he additionally moved up on the ATP ranking.

First seeded will be Carlos Alcaraz, second Rafael Nadal, third Casper Ruud, fourth Stefanos Tsitsipas. This immediately means that Novak will play against some of them before the semi-finals, and it is certain that Ruud, who he beat in the final in Turin, would suit him best.

The Serbian players on the list also include Miomir Kecmanovic, (seeded 29th) as well as Filip Krajinovic, Laslo Djere and Dudan Lajovic, who will not have to play in the qualifiers.
