First warning given at Jarinje to driver with car with KM license plates

The warning ("reprimand") was delivered a few minutes after the deadline for re-registration

A few minutes after the deadline expired and the first stage of the decision on re-registration (of Serbian license plates) came into force, the Kosovo police at the Jarinje administrative crossing handed over the first warning to a driver to register a car their to have "RKS" (Kosovo) plates.

According to a Kosovo Online reporter at Jarinje, the paper concerned a vehicle with "KM" number plates, which was driven by a woman.

She briefly stated that she did not encounter problems at the administrative crossing, and that the police officers handed her a paper containing the guidelines for re-registration.

The woman added that she does not plan to register her vehicle to "RKS" plates, but is waiting for Belgrade's decision.
