Vucic: Serbia's interests are the red line around which there can be no compromise

Serbia is building good relations with both the East and the West, said Vucic

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has published a video containing a brief overview of last week's activities and said that, in times of general divisions and threats, the interests of Serbia and the Serb people are the basic and only red lines around which there will never be compromises.

"This was also the week in which we once again confirmed that Serbia's membership in the EU is our strategic commitment and that we are working on that path with the goal of a better life for the citizens of Serbia," Vucic stated on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav."

He stressed that Serbia is building good relations both with the East and the West, with everyone in the world with whom it shares a common desire for peace, stability and progress.

He recalled that he spoke about Serbia, and for Serbia with ambassadors of 27 EU member states, Ambassador of the Russian Federation Aleskandr Botsan-Kharchenko and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

He highlighted the visit of "one of the most powerful world leaders and a dear friend," President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as particularly important, from whom Serbia can always count on help, and he on wise advice.

The president of Serbia stressed that work is being done on building roads, because they mean progress, and that new investments and better quality of life will reach residents of Raska and Moravica districts through these new roads.

"And this week we continued to build and protect our Serbia, the only homeland we have," said Vucic.
