After an incident on the new Novi Sad railway, when delays happened on the Belgrade-Novi Sad route due to the theft of railway infrastructure equipment, the damage is being successfully repaired.

Trains will run as usual once again, starting tomorrow.

"Today and yesterday throughout the day, as well as throughout the night, our workers were repairing the damage caused by a serious theft on the Belgrade-Novi Sad high-speed railway. Tomorrow morning, speeds will be 200 kilometers per hour again, and the timetable will be the same as it was before the criminal acts were committed," Minister Momirovic said, and added:

"This is important for all the people who take the train to work in Belgrade or in Novi Sad. We will not rest until the brazen perpetrators have been arrested, prosecuted and held accountable for their criminal acts against the property of the Serbian state."

Lines to Sid, Sremska Mitrovica and Mali Zvornik also operate along this railroad.
