Brnabic: New government will be formed within constitutional deadlines
The prime minister stressed that ministers still work, and that the fact that they are in a technical mandate does not change their attitude towards work or responsibility
Ana Brnabic, prime minister and prime minister-designate to form Serbia's next government, says that her new cabinet will be formed in accordance with constitutional deadlines and reminded that this process is taking place under unprecedented circumstances.
"I think it is going as fast as possible under the circumstances. When we really have to put out various fires on a daily basis, to fight for stability, not only political, but also energy. As for the daily life of citizens, whether the government is technical or a new one is awaited - nothing has changed," Brnabic told TV Blic last night.
The prime minister stressed that ministers still work, and that the fact that they are in a technical mandate does not change their attitude towards work or responsibility.
"We all work together and as a team with the president of Serbia. And as far as what we deliver to our citizens, we haven't allowed one thing to be happening as if there were no government. The government exists, and the new government will come in accordance with constitutional deadlines," she said.
Brnabic added, "if we're being honest, the 'Third World War' started in the last six months," and said, "these are not the circumstances we've had previously."
