Serbian PM Brnabic offers condolences to Shinzo Abe's widow and to her Japanese counterpart
Flags were flying at half-mast outside of Tokyo's Akasaka Palace
After the state funeral ceremony in Tokyo for slain Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic offered her condolences.
Brnabic, like many officials, offered her condolences to Abe's widow Akie Abe and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Outside Tokyo's Akasaka Palace, Japanese flags were flying at half-mast.
Abe's state funeral ceremony was held today at the Nippon Budokan Arena in Tokyo, attended by more than 4,000 guests, including members of the Japanese imperial family and more than 700 officials from around the world.
Among those present were former Japanese prime ministers, Japanese Crown Prince Fumihito, US Vice President Kamala Harris, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and others.
