Photos of a black cloud curling over Belgrade: This thing brought us a supercell storm
The downpour that came down on the city was driven by a strong wind, while the thunder rumbled menacingly
A horrific storm hit Belgrade and its surroundings twice yesterday, and a nasty black cloud was photographed by Belgrader Andreja Markovic.
"The cloud formed near Bogatic and Sremska Mitrovica and quickly moved eastward, through Macva and Srem. It was a supercell storm. It disintegrated in front of Pancevo, as soon as it crossed Belgrade," the photographer, a storm hunter, explained to us.
The worst damage was done in Dobanovci, where photos were take of the wind destroying everything in front of it, things that were left outside flying in a circle. There was damage even inside industrial grounds, such as overturning of transport containers.
The downpour that came down on the city was driven by a strong wind, while the thunder rumbled menacingly.
There was flooding, and large pools of water formed in many parts of the city.
