On the occasion of the riots that took place last Saturday on the streets of Belgrade, when participants in EuroPride and members of other organizations  and hooligans gathered, Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandar Vulin issued a statement which we are reporting in full:

"As announced, the Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded all public gatherings during the past weekend. Accordingly, the MUP will identify all persons who, by their behavior and actions, offended public morals, violated public order and peace, or participated in attacks on the police," he said, adding:

"No one's beliefs or lifestyle is an excuse for shameless behavior in front of the shrines of the Serbian people and the state or for endangering the lives and health of police officers. Immediately after the identification of the persons is completed, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will file complaints with the competent prosecutor's office."
