Of course, institutions should exist, but people are the ones who make them, said SNS vice-president Milos Vucevic.

"People like strong leaders, not empty shells that they formulate as institutions. Of course, institutions exist and should exist. People make institutions," Vucevic told TV Pink.

We need to think about what will happen in the next five, ten years

"I don't know how Europe will push through. Strategically, it was perhaps the most important thing that we completed the Balkan Stream (pipeline), the Turkish Stream. It is a fantastic project that keeps us safe in terms of natural gas supply. And the second thing is that the president got that preferential gas price (from Russia) that Serbia uses. Further, the challenge of obtaining oil awaits us, from November 1," said Vucevic.

Quint thinks Kurti is acting legally

The mayor of Novi Sad pointed out that it would be ideal if we were all united on the issue of Kosovo, but said that that is not the case in the parliament (Serbian National Assembly).

"The Quint (US, Germany, France, Italy, UK) countries believe that (Albin) Kurti is carrying out legal actions, that the police control the entire territory. For us, it is always a provocation. It would be ideal if we were all united around KiM (Kosovo and Metohija). Some wanted us to recognize them, and others wanted us to go to Prizren with our children, but not with their children," said he.

"Vucic has so far created the best relations with Hungary, which was important for us, we see Turkey as a great power, which has a strong influence on the events in the countries around us and in some parts of our country, I am talking about Raska (District), the influence on the Bosniak community, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania. All the way to Libya you see Turkey as a player. Until a few years ago, we had trade with Turks of less than one billion euros, now we have two (billion). The two presidents made a political agreement in principle that in a short period of time these figures will reach five billion euros. The visa regime has been abolished, Turkey is among the top five countries concerning the number of tourist visits. We can also open a new chapter, better equipping and arming the Serbian Army. We see what is happening on the Ukrainian front. We have to think pragmatically, to achieve best possible relations with Turkey. Elections await us on October 2 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, additionally challenging, who will be the representatives of all three peoples and whether we will get representatives of all three peoples. I am sure that Bosnia and Herzegovina was one of the topics (discussed by) presidents Vucic and Erdogan," said Vucevic.
