President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has scheduled a meeting of the Council for National Security for Saturday, starting at 8 am.

It has been pointed out that this body will meet immediately after the meeting of the head of state with EU's special envoy for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, as well as with the special envoys of Berlin and Paris, who are arriving in our country after a joint letter sent by Olaf Scholz and Emmanuel Macron, in which they "encouraged" the Serbian leader to make difficult decisions regarding our southern province, writes Novosti.

That is why it is expected that the main topic will be the events in Kosovo and Metohija and security challenges, especially after the decision of the government of Albin Kurti to ban the use of Serbian license plates, which raised tensions and upset our compatriots.

All the more so, since our services have received information that the CIA is preparing to stage conflicts on the administrative line (between Kosovo and Metohija and central Serbia) that would be used as a to increase the number of NATO forces in Kosovo.

In addition, energy security and the country's preparations for one of the most challenging winters in the last few decades will be discussed. The hybrid war being waged against Serbia and cyber security will be another topic on the Council's agenda on Saturday.
