In the early hours of the morning an incident occurred when a camper van with foreign license plates caught fire in the parking lot in front of a restaurant in Bistrice, near Nova Varos.

"Several people spent the night in it, and the fire broke out when they left the camper and went to a nearby restaurant. The fire suddenly broke out, the owner of the vehicle immediately ran outside and tried putting out the blaze using fire extinguishers, but without success," an eyewitness told RINA.
Firefighters soon arrived at the scene, but all they could do is extinguish the fire. In just a few minutes, it had destroyed the entire van and everything inside it.
