Petkovic: We were on the verge of a serious conflict last night
Serbia is in favor of peace, said Petkovic
The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said today regarding the events in Kosovo and Metohija that we were on the verge of a serious conflict.
"The two-day agony and very serious crisis that Albin Kurti and Pristina pushed us all into show the extent of the militancy of that man who is at the head of the government in Pristina, it shows how dangerous he is," Petkovic told a press conference.
He added that with the decision to extend the deadline for issuing the entry-exit document (replacing Serbian IDs and license plates), the threat to Serbs does not go away.
"That is more or less clear to everyone, the Serbs understand it best, as does President Aleksandar Vucic, who for this reason has been pleading with and urging representatives, especially of the Quint (US, France, Germany, Italy, UK), to react in order to stop the evil," said Petkovic.
Stating that we were on the verge of a serious conflict last night, Petkovic added that the plan was for representatives of Pristina to carry out an incursion (into the north) during the night and organize a showdown with the Serb people defending their right to stay in their homes and survive.
