Serbian Ambassador to the US Marko Djuric has met with Senator Thom Tillis, a member of the US Senate Armed Services Committee.

Ambassador Djuric informed Senator Tillis about a whole series of topics of importance for bilateral relations, the Serbian Embassy announced.

Speaking about prospects and further strengthening of overall Serbian-US ties, Djuric stressed that increasing US investments and development projects are in the interest of the entire region, and that Serbia, with its stable economic situation and responsible policy, has proven that it is ready to be a regional hub of cooperation.

He also conveyed to the senator that Serbia appreciates the US support for its path to EU integration and efforts to strengthen regional cooperation, as well as Washington's appreciation of the contribution that Serbia, as a reliable partner, makes to preserving peace and stability in the Balkans.
