Vucic and Orban: Serbia and Hungary will support each other
The two statesmen once again expressed their sincere commitment to bilateral cooperation
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday spoke on the phone with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
The two statesmen once again expressed their sincere commitment to bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Hungary and their willingness to contribute to the improvement of friendly relations between the two countries in various fields.
President Vucic and Prime Minister Orban stressed that the two countries will support each other and that they will go through all the difficulties that await us in the coming period together.
The interlocutors agreed that they will continue to build primarily friendly, but also partnership relations, and that the two countries can fully count on each other in difficult times.
In addition to bilateral relations, President Vucic and Prime Minister Orban also discussed regional situation, the migrant crisis, various issues within the European Union, as well as pressing global issues.
Vucic expressed his gratitude to the Hungarian government for helping Serbia with gas storage, as a contribution to the energy security of our country, and confirmed that the established cooperation in the field of energy is going well.
The president of Serbia also announced a meeting with the prime minister of Hungary, which will be another confirmation of the extraordinary friendly relations between the two brotherly nations, but also an opportunity for further improvement of overall cooperation, the Serbian president's press office announced.
