President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic commented in an interview with Sitel TV the French proposal to resolve the dispute with Bulgaria by saying that North Macedonia should not reject the European proposal before thinking carefully about its national interests.

Vucic said that North Macedonia should move forward, that it is good to be on the European path and open opportunities for attracting investments, MIA agency reports.

"What is the alternative for you? They will ask the Bulgarians about something, they will ask others about something else. There will always be something. But push your country forward. At the end of the day, whether someone will open a larger or a smaller cluster (in EU accession talks) is not the essential question, nor is it the most important one. But it's good to be on the European road, it's good to open opportunities for attracting investments. That's important, that's good," said Vucic.

As reported by MIA, Vucic also told Sitel that he believes that, although there are obstacles on the European path, they should be solved and removed one by one.
