The body of a man, believed to be I.S. (40), was found yesterday in the decaying phase in the basement of a house in the village of Velika Trnja near Leskovac, and the prosecutor ordered an autopsy to positively identify it.

In the same house, the police also found a woman, B.S. (38), hanged, whose disappearance was reported by the family a few days ago.

"The investigation is ongoing. An autopsy will determine whether the man was killed or whether this was a natural death. As the body was in the phase of disintegration, it was not possible to determine the way in which he died," said our source and added that the man was found in a barrel, and in order to make sure the barrel was not easily spotted, it was covered with plates.

As Telegraf.rs has learned, the police suspect that this was the husband of the woman who was found hanged in the house yesterday.

"She said that her husband was working temporarily in Russia. We haven't seen him in over three years. There was a rumor in the village that she had a lover. We haven't seen that man in recent months either. We are all afraid after all this," said a Velika Trnja resident.

The only thing we could confirm with the police in Leskovac is that a male body was found in a basement and that an investigation is underway.
