Latest warning about heat wave in Serbia: Daily highs up to 37 degrees, nights will be hellish as well
Already this morning at 7 o'clock in most places in Serbia the temperature was over 20 degrees Celsius, Belgrade was the warmest with 25 degrees
This morning, the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Serbia (RHMZ) issued the latest high temperature warning for the area of Serbia. It states that very high daily temperatures and "tropical nights" (when temperature doesn't drop below 20 degrees) await us until the end of the week.
"Very warm weather will continue until the end of the week, with morning temperature in most places was from 20 to 25 degrees and the highest during the day will be from 34 to 37," it is stated in a warning that was published this morning at 6:20 am.
Already this morning at 7 o'clock in most places in Serbia, the temperature was over 20 degrees. The warmest was Belgrade with 25 degrees, followed by Sremska Mitrovica, Novi Sad, Sombor, Palic and Zrenjanin with 23 degrees, while 22 degrees were measured in Loznica, Kikinda, Negotin...
The coolest weather this morning was in Sjenica, with 11 degrees.
In Backa, Srem, Belgrade and Western Serbia, orange meteorological alarm is in force today, indicating dangerous weather, while in the rest of Serbia, yellow meteorological alarm is in force.
The UV index is high, and very high: on a scale of 11 it is 8 and 9 in most of Serbia this Tuesday.
