This mountain peak on Mt. Zlatibor is not so well known, but the view from it is fascinating
Have you visited Cuker?
Zlatibor, the most visited mountain in Serbia, has 12 peaks - Tornik, Brijac, Cigota, Cuker, Konjoder, Ljuljas, Vijogor, Kobilja Glava, Gradina, Jelova Gora, Gruda and Crni Vrh.
Each of them exceeds 1,000 meters above sea level, and the most famous and most visited ones are Tornik at 1,496 meters and Cigota at 1,422 meters.
In recent years, more and more tourists want to see Cuker, which is located at 1,359 meters above sea level and which, if you go the shortest route, is five kilometers from Kraljev Square and the well known lake.
Although it seems that the distance from the heart of Zlatibor to Cuker can be easily crossed, you should know that the path that leads to this peak is very demanding. The total ascent is 615 meters, and most hikers need three hours to reach Cuker.
If you are not in shape, you will need more time to get from the square to this mountain peak.
However, there will be reward for the effort - Cuker offers a beautiful view of Konjoder, Cigota, Tornik, Ribnica Lake, Mucanj, Tara and Gradina.
