Horrific storm roared through Serbia early this morning: Fallen, uprooted trees, lightning strikes
Orange and yellow weather alarms are in effect
A storm that hit early this morning, followed by rain and strong thunder, created chaos in Serbia.
Trees were falling in Jagodina and Lazarevac, and in Mladenovac, a lightning struck a house, causing a fire.
As can be seen in the photos published on the Instagram account 192, the storm broke trees in the Tabane settlement in Jagodina.
Identical images come from Lazarevac, from the village of Medosevac, where a huge tree tree was basically uprooted.
As we have already reported, a lightning struck a house in Mladenovac. Firefighters are at the scene, putting out the fire.
A strong storm affected Jagodina, Cuprija, and Paracin this morning at around 5 o'clock.
Unstable weather with rain, stormy wind and thunder has been forecast for today. Yellow and orange meteorological alarms are in force.
