Vucic meets with Saudi minister of tourism and chairman of that country's Development Fund
Vucic expressed hope that Saudi Arabia will open a diplomatic mission in Belgrade as soon as possible
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today received Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Saudi Fund for Development Ahmed Aqeel AlKhateeb, with whom he discussed improvement of bilateral relations and strengthening economic cooperation.
During the meeting, the interlocutors agreed that potentials for improving cooperation should be used, and President Vucic called on investors from Saudi Arabia to invest more in Serbia and cooperate with Serbian businesspeople.
Vucic and Minister AlKhateebb discussed specific projects in the field of tourism, transport and energy, as well as creation of conditions for better connecting between the two countries and their citizens and businesspeople, which includes strengthening the legal framework for cooperation.
President Vucic also expressed hope that Saudi Arabia will open a diplomatic mission in Belgrade as soon as possible and thus further intensify all types of cooperation.
Minister AlKhateeb conveyed to Vucic the greetings of Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, to whom the president sent an invitation to visit our country.
The two interlocutors also discussed current global political and economic issues, the president's media office announced.
