Titel Hill (Serbian: Titelski Breg) is located between the town of Titel and four villages - Mosorina, Loka, Vilova and Sajkas, near the Tisa River. It is the only elevation in this part of Serbia.

This loess terrace at an altitude of 128 meters above sea level was created by loess "drifts" and the erosive action of the Danube and the Tisa. It is 18 kilometers long and 7.5 kilometers wide, and looks as if someone lowered it onto the huge plain to break the monotony of the landscape.

In fact, the story of the only hill in Backa is much more complex and colored in mystery...

This natural phenomenon is thought to have originated 600,000 years ago, and many researchers consider it the most interesting loess terrace in Central Europe, a witness to dramatic changes in the environment during the last ice age.

There is also the thesis that Titel Hill was "torn off" from Mt. Fruska Gora.

630 plant and more than 140 bird species can be seen in this area, which is why it was in 2012 declared a Special Nature Reserve.
