Vucic speaks with Lajcak about Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and the situation in the region

During his stay in Bratislava, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with EU Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and other regional issues in the Western Balkans Miroslav Lajcak.

"As always, an open and honest conversation with Lajcak about the situation in the region, as well as all topics of interest in order to constructively continue the dialogue with Pristina," Vucic worte on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" and posted a photo of him with Lajcak.

He added that they analyzed what had been achieved and agreed that fulfilling obligations from the Brussels Agreement remains the key message for any further talks.

"I reiterated Serbia's full commitment to the continuation of that process and efforts to reach a compromise solution in order to create better relations between Serbs and Albanians," said Vucic.

"We agreed that regional cooperation, along with preserving peace and stability, is the only right path for the progress of the Western Balkan countries," the president of Serbia added.
