The Ministry of Education on new bomb threats: They arrived by email to 34 primary schools

Until the end of the counter-sabotage checks, classes will be held online, and students will return to schools after confirmation that this is safe

This morning, reports about planted explosive device arrived at emails of several primary and secondary schools in Serbia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development announced.

"The reports arrived at the email addresses of 134 primary schools in the territory of the School Administration of Novi Sad, as well as in some schools in Pirot, Nis, Babusnica, Vlasotince, Lebane and Kursumlija," said the Ministry of Education.

It is added that for the sake of the students' safety, the schools informed the Ministry of the Interior about the threats and police teams are on the ground.

"Until the end of the counter-sabotage checks, classes will be held online, and students will return to schools after confirmation that this is safe. The schools will inform students and their parents about the manner of organizing classes and returning to direct classes through regular communication channels," the ministry said..
