Vesic: Tickets for EuroLeague's Final Four sold out, 18,000 people from abroad arriving in Belgrade

The deputy mayor of Belgrade spoke on TV Prva this motning about the upcoming Final Four competition.

Goran Vesic said that all tickets have been sold and that 18,000 foreigners will come to Belgrade, mostly Greeks, almost 9,000 of them. According to his assessment, the City of Belgrade will earn around 22 million euros directly from the fans, while the total revenue will reach around 25 million euros.

"Tourists are slowly arriving in Belgrade, mostly from Greece, and there are also fans from Turkey and of course Spain. Interestingly, for the first time, El Clasico, a game between Barcelona and Real Madrid teams, will be played outside of Spain, in our city. In addition to the tournament itself, we will have many accompanying and interesting events," said Vesic and added:

"Now we have the final basketball tournament, we had the World Indoor Athletics Championships, and boxing, we will have the World Wrestling Championship. Belgrade is a city that organizes big competitions and a city that everyone wants to come to, and that makes me very proud," Vesic stressed.
