Vucic: Gas is not the only problem, oil is another. We will survive, and we'll see how we'll do that

The problem with oil is bigger than that with gas, Vucic said

"There was talk about gas in Berlin, but only in two years' time we will have the opportunity to get something from gas pipelines and interconnectors that are being built. That doesn't fall from the sky. We are 100 percent dependent on Russia when it comes to gas," said President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

He also pointed out that gas and oil are often mixed up, and stressed that oil is causing Serbia more problems.

"Previously, there was more Iranian oil on the market, but now it's Russian because it's cheaper," said Vucic.

He also said that talks over the price of gas would continue with Russia by the end of the year.

"We can't go against the Germans," he said.

Asked if we will survive the winter, he said:

"Of course we will survive. The question is not whether we will, but how we'll do it," said Vucic.
