22 schools in Belgrade evacuated after bomb threats: Students and teachers leave classrooms
"The director only told us to move away in case something happened so we wouldn't be close"
A total of 22 schools in Belgrade were evacuated this morning due to reports that bombs had been planted on their premises; all reports were false. The Ministry of the Interior announced this, saying initially that the affected high schools were the Medical School, the Construction School and the 14th Belgrade Gymnasium, it has been confirmed for Telegraf.rs.
This morning, students and employees were first evacuated after a bomb threat report was received regarding the Medical School in Zvezdara in Belgrade.
As confirmed by the Ministry of the Interior, they received a call, and sent a team to investigate.
"At half past seven they just came and told us to get out of the school. And the director only told us to move away in case something happened so we wouldn't be close. First two policemen came in a car, and now two more in a van. We are all standing in front of the school," said an Instagram post published earlier on the "Serbialive Beograd" account.
