Each spring, the Limska (Lim) Regatta event is held on the Lim River in Prijepolje, gathering the biggest fans of adrenaline sports from Serbia and other countries for more than 20 years.

The canyon of the river is about 200 kilometers long, passing through three countries, and carved into high steep rocks overgrown with dense conifer trees, which gives rafting here a special charm.

The Lim is calm, mysterious and quiet in some parts, ideal for easy riding without excitement and danger, and in others it is unrestrained and dangerous, showing its wild temper.

Huge waves, rocks, rapids, underwater traps and cliffs are reserved only for the most experienced rafters ready to embark on a sixth class ride on a river that does not forgive even the slightest mistake.

In both cases, the experience is invaluable, primarily due to the nature that is rich in diversity and beauty in this part of Serbia. Along the river, which flows colorfully from pearl white to emerald green, magnificent waterfalls flow down from the gorge, whose sound merges with the thunder of the Lim.

The rocks overgrown in lush greenery in some parts of the river are so close together that they almost shut down the view of the sky, only to retreat before the power of the Lim several dozens of meters downstream, opening a view of the clouds.
