Until recently, shelves that hold large quantities of cooking oil, sugar, flour and pasta were completely empty. Due to the Ukrainian crisis, the inflation rate in Germany has ached an incredible 7.6 percent. A reporter from the Telegraf Biznis portal visited several retail chains and wrote about that in an article published earlier.
The Bureau of Statistics in Germany has officially announced that sunflower oil prices have risen by 28.9 percent, tomatoes and cucumbers (per kilogram) 30 percent, butter 20.4 percent and eggs 16.3 percent.
The problem are not only the prices, but also shortages. However, many of our citizens did not believe in the real state of affairs, so we once again went to grocery stores to learn about the price of oil, as well as the quantities avaiable.
