Escobar and Donfried in Belgrade today: Meeting with Vucic at 3 pm

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will meet with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affair Karen Donfried, his press service has announced.

The meeting, which will be held at 3 pm, will be attended by the special envoy of the State Department for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.

After that, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will meet with Karen Donfried at 4:30 pm in the building of the Government of Serbia.

Donfried started her tour of the Western Balkans on Monday with a visit to Kosovo, where she met with Kosovo President and Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti, as well as representatives of opposition parties.

On that occasion, she stressed that the United States gives priority to the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as that the status quo suits Russia.

As previously announced, Donfried will be visiting Albania, BiH, Montenegro and North Macedonia until April 29.
