During the ceremony for the winner of the Serbia Open, Novak Djokovic used the opportunity to salute his "original" crew and gift them with figurines that, at first, looked mysterious. It is now more than clear what this was about, and it made the fans of the best tennis player in the world and his former professional staff emotional.

Namely, Novak presented golden figurines to Marian Vajda, Miljan Amanovic and Gebhard Griech, which depict the moment from the Australian Open when Vajda and Miljan held Novak, along with Griech, who was also in the embrace.

After the final, it was announced that Amanovic would no longer be in Novak's staff, and would instead take over responsibilities related to the academy and a big story that is being prepared in Belgrade. Griech was not there, while cooperation with Vajda was recently terminated by mutual consent.

In the final of the Serbia Open, Djokovic was defeated in three sets by Andrey Rublev. The Russian was crowned the champion of the Belgrade tournament for the first time.
