Djokovic trains with Thiem: We recorded a special ritual when he stepped onto the court in Belgrade

The world's best tennis player sparred before the Serbia Open with the Grand Slam champion from Austria

The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, trained before the start of the Serbia Open with the Austrian Dominic Thiem. Novak is free in the first round, and will play his first match on Wednesday, in the second round, when he will face the winner of the match between Laslo Djere and Hamad Medjedovic.

Novak also trained on Sunday, when his sparring partner was the Dane Holger Rune, and on Monday he exchanged balls with the other biggest star of the tournament, Grand Slam champion Dominic Thiem.

Telegraf had the opportunity to observe a part of Novak's training, one could see him slowly entering the shot.

Other members of Novak's team, Goran Ivanisevic, as well as his physiotherapist Miljan Amanovic were there, while Thiem had his coach Nicolas Massu, also once a famous tennis player from Chile, at his side.

It was interesting to see that Novak has a small ritual before he steps onto the court, because he touches his chest, then the court itself, and then looks at the sky.

See in the video at the top of the page and what the training session was like.
