Vucevic: My suggestion to President Vucic is to hold parliamentary elections again in the fall!

I think that today, after all these events and the messages we heard after April 3, the citizens would have sobered up - said Vucevic

SNS Vice President Milos Vucevic has proposed to hold parliamentary elections again in the fall.

"I will say something that may not sound decent - I think that some people took the parliamentary elections lightly, that they understood the importance of the presidential elections and were focused on that. They sent a strong message - that Aleksandar Vucic should be the president of Serbia, and he received a record number of votes. This is a historic victory, because the other candidates put together received 800,000 fewer votes. In the parliamentary elections, it seems to me that people were messing around with their votes, and if it was up to me, and it isn't, and I don't think the president of the Republic will agree with that, but it would be the fairest to go to new parliamentary elections in the fall," Vucevic told TV Pink.

Vucevic said that now the question of the legitimacy of the SNS is being raised for no reason.

"We now see the questions, whether there is a majority or not, whether it is full legitimacy or not, although our list has won 120 seats convincingly and no one can approach us. That is why I think that it might be fairest for us to go to the polls for the parliament in the fall, since the opposition is not dealing with political legitimacy, but with mathematics and adding things up. I think that today, after all these events and the messages we heard after April 3, the citizens would have sobered up," said Vucevic.
